Quadrant Global Pte. Ltd. (An Appen Company) ("Quadrant", "we", "us", or "our") values and respects privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, transfer, store, and protect information in connection with our websites, products, services, datasets, and business operations. It also explains the choices and rights available to individuals regarding information that we collect or process.
Quadrant is a global data company providing privacy conscious data products and insights, including mobile location data, point of interest (POI) data, mobility intelligence, and related datasets that support analytics, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, research, mapping, site selection, and other commercial applications.
Our products and services are used by organizations across a variety of industries, including technology, artificial intelligence, retail, financial services, transportation, real estate, research, and analytics.
Our data supply partners are independent third-party companies that collect information from mobile devices when using certain mobile applications and provide that information to us in different data sets for us to provide our products to clients.
We operate as an independent data controller, determining the purposes and means of processing the information we collect, ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations and contractual obligations with our supply partners. We license such information to clients who operate as separate data controllers in processing the information we provide via our products. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy does not apply to our supply partners or clients use, disclosure, or other processing of your information, and you should contact them directly for questions about how they process your information and about how to exercise your privacy rights in relation to such processing.
As independent data controllers, we, our supply partners, and clients, each have responsibility for ensuing transparency in data collection and processing and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Quadrant receives location related signals and other information from mobile applications, SDK integrations, commercial partners, and other lawful sources.
These datasets may include information relating to device activity, geographic movement patterns, points of interest interactions, and other location related attributes that support our products and services.
We rely on our partners to provide appropriate notice, transparency, and consent mechanisms as required by applicable laws.
Information Collected from Our Supply Partners
We obtain Information from our supply partners and use it to provide products to clients. Our supply partenrs are mobile application developers, publishers, owners of applications or data aggregators who primarily receive information from software development kits that are embedded directly into mobile applications. We rely on and contractually obligate all supply partners to collect Information in compliance with privacy laws, which, as applicable, may require notice, consent mechanisms, and/or limit or prohibit the use or sale of sensitive Information.
Our supply partners provide us with Information collected when you use these mobile applications and may include the following:
- Mobile ad identifiers, Apple iOS IDFAs or Google Android IDs
- Geographic location of a device, expressed in latitude/longitude coordinates
- Time of information collection, defined as a timestamp
- Horizontal accuracy of the latitude/longitude coordinates
- Carrier and connection type (e.g., cellular, Wi-Fi)
- Device information such as manufacturer, model, operating system, and version
- Device language
- Public facing (external) IP address of device
- Available or connected Wi-Fi SSID and/or BSSID names
- Vertical accuracy or altitude
To ensure compliance with all privacy laws, we restrict the collection and processing of Information from children under the age of 16 and from any sensitive locations pursuant to applicable laws.

To submit an appeal, please contact us at privacy@quadrant.io with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal" and include sufficient information to identify your original request and the basis for your appeal.
We will review your appeal and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If your appeal is denied and applicable law provides additional rights, we will provide information regarding any available methods for contacting the appropriate regulatory authority or submitting a complaint.

To maintain security and compliance, we only act on requests once we confirm the identity of the individual or validate that an authorized representative is acting on their behalf.
